Writer: TongRo ImagesTongRo Images

Interior design is a skill that harmonizes a space's colors, textures, spatial flow, and layout. Therefore, stock images with the ability to style a space according to the desired identity or trend always see high demand. This week's article introduces the key interior design trends that experts are focusing on for 2025 and examines their features. Turn these interior design trends, which meet market demand, into opportunities for creative possibilities.

[The Rediscovery of Art Deco]

A design that shone brightly between the 1920s and 1930s, "Art Deco," can be exemplified by the movie The Great Gatsby. The geometric beauty created by lines that stretch at right angles, and the fascination with "exotic" places like ancient Egypt or Mesoamerica, Art Deco has returned to us 100 years later.

Rather than simplicity, why not continue to observe and reflect Art Deco-inspired interior designs that choose elegance over modesty and opulence over simplicity? If you match a bold color palette of gold, silver, black, and white with luxurious lighting fixtures made of glass or metal and velvet sofas, you could bring the nostalgia-filled Art Deco design to life.

[Futurism and Cybercore]

Gentle Monster, a Korean eyewear brand, opened its first European store at Milan Fashion Week in early March this year. The store's interior design caught attention because it prominently featured the cybercore aesthetic that Gentle Monster has consistently pursued. Among these, the silver objects in the store symbolizing the brand's futuristic vision visually conveyed a sense of the future and advanced technology. This ties in with the retrofuturism trend, which was also highlighted in the September 2024 shoot request list. You may want to create a design that draws inspiration from this.

[Biomorphic Modernism]

"Biomorphic Modernism" is a result of combining nature-friendly trends with futuristic design. Characterized by soft silhouettes, this design adds materials like processed wood, resin, and ceramics to traditional minimalist designs, which were once linear and rigid, creating a more visually comfortable and harmonious environment. <Elle Decor> has previously presented a fresh and unique vibe by incorporating pastel pink, so it may be worth considering as a reference.

How did you find the 2025 Interior Design Trends Report, encompassing the heat of the 1920s, cybercore, and biology? Since each of these requires the ability to use various visual languages, it will take significant research, but I believe that if you create content that grasps the core of these trends, you will gain valuable subscriptions.
